What Happens During the Procedure?
Earlobe repair is performed in-office under local anesthesia for your comfort.
- For torn or stretched earlobes, our surgeons excise the damaged tissue and perform a three-layered closure, suturing the back, middle, and front of the earlobe for long-lasting strength and a smooth finish. This technique helps prevent cysts and maintain the earlobe’s natural curve.
- For keloid removal, we use precision techniques such as carbon dioxide laser or electrocautery to remove the growth, followed by steroid injections to reduce recurrence.
- For stretched but intact piercings, injectable fillers (such as Restylane® or Juvéderm®) may be used to plump the lobe and narrow the opening, creating a youthful, rejuvenated contour.
