What Happens During the Procedure?
Laser Hair Removal
Before your laser hair removal treatment, we advise that your hair be neatly trimmed. Extremely long hair is not necessarily great for this removal procedure. We’ll provide protective eyewear to shield your eyes from the heat generated by the laser while it’s on your skin. Our Aesthetic Technician will apply a cold gel to the treatment area, then test a small area of your skin to assess for adverse reactions and determine the optimal laser setting. setting
Once the settings are calibrated, your technician will continue to place the handheld device and perform short, controlled movements with the laser as it works to break down your hair follicles. By applying intense pulsed light to your skin, the laser hair removal treatment targets and destroys hair follicles responsible for unwanted growth, so you can enjoy smooth, clear skin that lasts. The laser energy will not damage the skin or soft tissues surrounding the treatment area, as this procedure is completely safe.
We recommend scheduling multiple laser hair reduction sessions to maximize your chances of removing hair that may be in a different growth cycle so that you can see truly terrific results.
Alma Soprano ICE
During the laser hair removal procedure with Alma™ Soprano ICE, you will typically wear protective eyewear to safeguard your eyes from the laser. You’ll also feel a cooling sensation from the device, which helps minimize discomfort.
The Alma™ Soprano ICE laser is moved over the treatment site and emits a diode laser beam that penetrates your skin to the hair follicles. The pigment in the follicles absorbs the laser energy, destroying the hair.
