What Happens During the Procedure?
In most cases, local anesthesia can be used for either upper or lower eyelid surgery. Before your surgery, however, your surgeon may advise intravenous sedation and will be sure to discuss the details of your procedure with you at length. Our goal is to ensure your total peace of mind, and we make sure that every step of your journey with us is tailored to your comfort.
Most blepharoplasty procedures take between one and two hours to complete, depending on the extent of your personalized surgical plan. Once Dr. Rozbeh, Dr. Radbeh, or Dr. Ramyar Torabi has removed excess fat and corrected sagging or drooping skin, he will carefully close the incisions. At this point, you’ll be moved to our recovery area before you return home to begin the healing process.
