at Elite Plastic Surgery in Phoenix
During your consultation, you’ll meet with an expert surgeon who will listen to your concerns and collaborate with you on the development of a unique treatment plan that will help you most effectively reach your cosmetic goals.
During this initial consultation, our team will be happy to help you learn more about the differences between the breast lift and breast augmentation procedures and recommend to you the procedure that will ultimately be best for your goals.
Every patient is different, so results will vary from person to person. Some patients may have a breast augmentation combined with a breast lift to get a fuller and perkier bust, and we’ll be sure to help you explore these options during your consultation.
You’ll have a chance to ask any questions you may have about the procedure and recovery process. Your surgeon will explain the procedure in detail, giving you a clear idea of what you can expect in terms of incision placement and post-surgical scarring.
Women with sagging breasts due to genetics, old age, large breast size, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or significant weight loss are good candidates for breast lift surgery. During your mastopexy consultation at our Phoenix or Chandler office, you will receive a thorough assessment where the surgeon will evaluate your current breast size and shape by taking measurements. During your consultation, the surgeon may also assess the breast symmetry, skin elasticity, and bone structure.
Your breast lift surgery will be performed while you are under general anesthesia, making the procedure pain-free. Three different types of breast lift incisions may be used depending on your unique factors, and your surgeon will choose an incision pattern for your operation based on the current size and elasticity of your breasts and areolas.
Your surgeon will then remove any excess breast skin and reposition your nipples and areolas to a natural, more youthful height, improving your breasts’ projection. If you are unhappy with your breast size, your surgeons may also perform a breast augmentation procedure with implants or fat transfer to achieve the size and shape you desire. After your breasts have been reshaped and any excess skin has been removed, the remaining skin will be tightened, and the incisions will be carefully closed.
